Formula 1 started back in 1950 at the famous Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. The race was eventually won by Guiseppe Farina, who would go on to win the championship, the first of 74 championships to date.

Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton share the most championships with 7 each, followed by Juan Manuel Fangio with 5 championships and then Alain Prost, Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen with 4 championships

Formula 1 has had 74 seasons and 1,125 races in 77 different circuits. 

The most used circuits have been Monza (Italy) having hosted Formula 1 74 times, this followed by Monaco with 70 races and then closely followed by Silverstone (United Kingdom) hosting 59 races and then Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) hosting 57 races.

Out of all F1 starts, Fernando Alonso has the most F1 races with 401, 

The most successful drivers of all time are Lewis Hamilton with 105 wins, which equals to 9.3% of all wins, Michael Schumacher is next with 91 wins, which equals 8% of all wins and then Max Verstappen with 63 wins, which equals to 5.6% of all wins.

 

The Greatest Of All Time debate has been between Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna for their excellence behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car. However, Max Verstappen has joined that group of names recently after his sheer domination of the 2023 season and an amazing 2024 season, seeing him with his third and fourth championships
