The 2020 season was a very different season compared to the other 69 previous seasons with Covid-19 putting a stop to racing for many months and having 0 fans attending what would be Lewis Hamilton’s record equalling 7th Driver’s Championship.
The Turkish Grand Prix was where Lewis Hamilton equalled Michael Schumacher’s 7 World Championships with a superb drive in changing conditions on a wet, newly resurfaced track which seemed to catch out every driver except Hamilton. Hamilton showed why he deserved another championship by winning the race by 31 seconds after starting sixth, finishing ahead of Racing Point’s Sergio Perez and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel.
